Where to Find the Russian Adoption Agencies Big List
![]() |
If you are interested in adopting from Russia, then one resource you definitely need is the Russian adoption agencies big list. This legendary list contains the information for all the adoption agencies that handle Russian adoptions. If you are serious about adopting a child from this country, this list can be a lifesaver. Using this list, you can find an appropriate agency in your area or close to your area that can help you adopt a child from Russia. Without an accredited agency, adopting from Russia is much harder.
For example, if you are not dealing with one of these agencies, you will need to travel to Russia to receive your referral in person from the Ministry of Education. This is in addition to the trip you will make to pick up your child. This means you will be traveling to and from Russia at least twice. There is normally a waiting period between the referral and the final court date of at least several months. By using an agency on the big list you will only need to travel to Russia once when it is time to pick up your child.
You can find the big list online, if you know how to use a search engine such as Google. By searching for appropriate keywords, you can find various links to such a list. Once you have the list in front of you, the only thing left to do is narrow it down to the most appealing agencies. That would of course be the agencies that are closer to you. You will find there are agencies all over the country that handle Russian adoptions. There are agencies in New York, California, Michigan, Texas and many more states. This means that no matter where you live, there is an agency within reasonable driving distance to you.
When choosing an agency from the Russian adoption agencies big list it is important to choose one within reasonable distance for the simple fact that you will have to make several trips to the agency to meet with an adoption specialist and complete a great deal of paperwork. There are even required classes that prospective adoptive parents must attend. Adopting from any nation is a long, involved process that should never be entered into lightly. However, working with a good agency can make the process a bit more manageable.

Today's Tip On Child Adoption
The idea of older child adoption is still not as prevalent as that of infant adoptions. Perhaps it is the emotional baggage and psychological issues that are part and parcel of an older child. Older children are in need of homes and love too. They deserve a chance to be with an adoptive family and have an opportunity to live a healthy, safe and normal life where they get to be cool and go to school! You can do your part by helping these children have that chance. |
